Elgin and Sonita Wineries: Southern Arizona has a growing number of wineries just a little over an hour SE of Tucson near the small towns of Elgin and Sonoita. Tasting days/hours vary at the various wineries; some open daily and others open Thur-Sun. Afternoon is best. Typically we would leave Tucson about 10:30, give you a chance for lunch in Sonoita (at your own expense), and then take you to several wineries. Guests may choose wineries to visit. Guests will pay their own fees at wineries for tasting.
